​Rhode Island’s Brody Williams - Certified in Broadcasting

Hoping to pursue a career in television or radio, Brody Williams of Narragansett, Rhode Island, graduated from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting with a certificate in broadcast media. While taking classes Brody Williams learned camerawork, video editing, board operations, play-by-play announcing, and in-person coverage of games.

Mr. Williams’ love of sports stems from being the captain of his high school varsity soccer team, which won the Division III championship for Rhode Island in 2021. He was also a member of the varsity basketball team and took on several roles in Narragansett community sports, such as umpiring for the Little League and refereeing for a youth basketball league.

Mr. Williams currently earns a living in foodservice, farming at Sunset Farm and handling customer service at its food truck. Previously, he served as a host at the Stoneacres Garden and Coastal Cabin restaurants. He also volunteers with St. Veronica’s Church and the Ronald McDonald House and supports the House of Hope Community Development Corporation. In his spare time, Mr. Williams enjoys tennis, professional soccer, and NBA and college basketball.
